Wire Division
Cold-rolled hard drawn wire either smooth or deformed, is manufactured from low carbon rod in coils or straightened and cut to length.
The material has a minimum breaking strength of 510MPa and a maximum yield point of 485MPa.
We offer:
- All Mild steel wire from diameters 1.60mm – 14.50mm, normal and plating quality
- Straighten and cut mild steel wire diameters 2.0mm – 14.50mm
- Thread rolling and special engineering rods drawn, straightened and cut to length
- Black annealed wire in diameters 1.60mm – 4.00mm
- Brickforce to NHBRC specifications, 75mm, 110mm, 150mm and 230mm
- Round bar in stock lengths
- Galvanised wire in 5 kgs, 50 kg and jumbo coils, 1.60mm – 4.00mm diameter
- Galvanised high tensile wire in 50 kg coils, 2.00mm – 2.24mm diameter
Mesh Division
Welded Mesh Fabric Reinforcement is manufactured using cold-rolled deformed wire, welded at the intersections of the longitudinal and cross wires at the required mesh spacing with minimal loss of strength and cross-sectional area.
Welded mesh reinforcing sheets are the most commonly used form of reinforcing in concrete and is particularly suited for flat slab construction and concrete surface beds.
We offer:
- Standard Sheets Sizes: 6 m x 2.4 m
- Standard Roll Sizes: 60 m x 2.4m
- Welded mesh Ref 100 – Ref 888
- Welded mesh (Special sizes on request)
- Indented wire in straights & coil (4mm – 12mm)
